Melloway Paint Me Red is owned by Barbara Martin (Karhisar) in South Australia and will be 14 years old soon. She was born on 16th 1998. Sired by Aust Ch Melloway Irish Fanfair out of Kamilairi Corn Silk. Barbara writes "A lovely surprise arrived in the post recently for our darling "Granny Tash". Our youngest daughter Sarah, is working in a pet store in Bath, UK and sent "Granny" her very own 'British bone'! I'm pleased to say the pet store doesn't sell puppies or kittens - good on them! "Corn Silk" is a daughter of Aust Ch Homerbrent Cherine who lived to a grand old age - around 16. "Irish Fanfair" lived to 14 and was a son of Aust/NZ Ch Homerbrent Cartoon. "Granny Tash" produced three champions for us in the first of her two litters and is the proud grand dam of five champions and is VERY special and so dearly loved."
MANY MORE HAPPY DAYS, TASH!
HOW "ART" THOU?
Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same
complaint?
Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.
The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and
has a time booked for surgery the following week.
The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment,
then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't
reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months from then.
Why the different treatment for the two patients?
The FIRST is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
The SECOND is a Senior Citizen.
Next time take me to a vet!
